How do I add a medicine time?

Go to the Schedule tab and tap + next to Medicine Times. Pick Morning, Lunch, Dinner or Nighttime, or tap Custom to enter your own name and time. Then choose the days it repeats on and tap Save.

I took my medicine but forgot to tap Mark as Taken

On the Today tab, swipe left on that time and tap Taken Earlier, then choose when you took it. If it’s already marked, the same swipe lets you change the time.

Why didn’t I get a reminder?

Check these in order:

  • In the app’s Settings tab, Reminders is on.
  • In iOS Settings, then Notifications, then Meds Taken, Allow Notifications is on.
  • If you track more than one person, that person’s own Reminders switch is on in the Schedule tab.
  • Reminders don’t make a sound when your iPhone is on silent. To have a time ring even on silent, set its Reminder Style to Alarm (iOS 26 and later).

You won’t get a reminder for a time you’ve already marked taken.

How do alarms work?

On iOS 26 and later, any time can be set to Alarm in Settings (for every time) or when editing a time. An alarm rings even on silent or in a Focus until you stop it or tap Snooze, which rings again in 10 minutes.

Stopping an alarm doesn’t mark the dose taken, so mark it in the app when you take it. Marking it taken cancels that day’s remaining alarms for it.

What is Remind Again?

If a time still isn’t marked taken, Remind Again sends a second reminder after the delay you choose, from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Set the default in the Settings tab, or change it or turn it off for one time when editing that time.

Can I track medicine for my family?

Yes. In the Settings tab, turn on Track Multiple People, then add people with Add Person in the Schedule tab. Each person has their own times, history and reminders. On Today, tap All to see everyone’s doses together.

Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?

Everything stays on your iPhone. It’s included in your iPhone’s backups to iCloud or your computer if backups are on. Deleting the app deletes its data. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I see the how-to guide again?

In the Settings tab, tap How to Use Meds Taken.
